Suellentrop, according to McLellan, is the risk taker, the one who's "always willing to try something new and doesn't hesitate to step out there on the precipice." McLellan is the designated sensible person, the one who, Suellentrop says, "always sees the just solution and asks the good questions." They both feel that some librarians do not treat young adults fairly. They want librarians to remember what it felt like to be a teen. This article briefly discusses the work these two librarians have done with youth services. |
