With Digital Past, there are various reasons to digitize, but the main intent of most participants is to reach out to the communities they serve. In this article, the authors talk about how they: designed the pattern for this pilot project; built a base for the project to establish a platform for expansion; shaped and later reshaped the project to support growth; and finally made Digital Past a success.
