  • Filling the Gaps: What's Happening in the World of Fan Fiction Collins, Tara Fiction Writing (Composition) Reader Response Surveys When one reads and greatly enjoys a book, he or she would naturally want to repeat the experience. Readers seeking to do so can perhaps find what they are looking for in fan fiction if aspiring fan fiction writers are capable of supplying answers to questions left by the original author in a manner that does justice to that author's style or writers can provide a unique but feasible insight into the original work. Through writing and reading fan fiction, young readers can explore possibilities that can be imagined within the scope of a universe created by someone else. In this article, the author describes how she conducted a survey for writers to post feedback in the world of fan fiction that would greatly affect a successful literary piece. It can be presumed that readers of all ages appreciate originality, solid characterization, well-conceived plots, and among works of fan fiction, a writing style and taste that is respectful to the original author.
