This article describes a collaborative literature circles project between an English teacher and a media specialist that was extremely successful in getting students to read books that they enjoy, so they would begin to move from "reluctant" readers to "readers." A list of considerations in choosing titles for teachers and media specialists planning their own literature circles is provided. |
