Using topics of interest and brainstorming exercises based on a presentation by Elaine Scott, author of "Adventures in Space: The Flight to Fix the Hubble," the author and her colleagues created a research unit for their third grade students that culminated in the creation of a "Space Museum" containing an art project about each student's area of research.
