These are known as the "AASL Standards for the 21st-Century Learner" and "The National Educational Technology Standards for Students: The Next Generation" (NETS). The standards from each of these national associations are used in schools today and often are the foundation for state standards on information and technology literacies. This article focuses on a comparison of these new standards and shows how the standards are represented across a selection of state academic standards. (Contains 6 tables.) |
