Kate O'Sullivan, the pair's Houghton Mifflin editor, notes that, "Sy's writing--filled with humor, grace, and unforgettable description and insight--is perfectly matched by Nic's stunning photos, and it's through this precise balance of words and images that kids easily learn about geography, natural science, conservation, and anthropology."
