How many times have principals attended individualized education program (IEP) meetings and wished they understood all the new provisions of federal laws? And when it comes time to plan professional development meetings for the coming year, how many principals wonder, "Where do I start?" This article presents a list of 20 resources about the law, inclusion of students with disabilities, designing coteaching practices, meeting the needs of parents, and keeping current about what works to increase achievement of students. This list is meant to provide a resource for principals and other administrators to stay current and understand some of the critical issues that schools are facing today.
