The focus of this article is to share information about our work with two technology projects, the Chicano/Latino Network and the Community Digital Initiative, and the partnerships that were formed with organizations beyond the library in the process. In this discussion, reflections on the lessons learned from these experiences will be provided as well as the strategies used for forming successful partnerships with community institutions such as non-profit organizations, professional associations, local governments, and schools.
