By presenting an entertaining yet informative session, students will be quickly put at ease. The goal of this type of orientation is to promote the library's resources and services, address basic queries, and encourage students' return in a non-threatening, entertaining manner. The article includes a review of the literature on the need for library orientation for non-users, a description of a summer success program on campus, the process involved in putting the library component together, the program's design, and a preliminary assessment of the program.
