- The Academic Library Meets Web 2.0: Applications and Implications Xu, Chen Ouyang, Fenfei Chu, Heting Web Sites Electronic Publishing Academic Libraries Internet Visits to 81 academic library websites in the New York State reveal that 42% of them adopted one or more Web 2.0 tools such as blogs while implementation of those tools in individual libraries varies greatly.
