Producing Library Instruction Video Tutorials Using Camtasia Studio Charnigo, Laurie Library Instruction Video Technology Distance Education Computer Software Internet Computer Uses in Education Academic Libraries From Web guides to online tutorials, academic librarians are increasingly experimenting with many different technologies in order to meet the needs of today's growing distance education populations. In this article, the author discusses one librarian's experience using Camtasia Studio to create subject specific video tutorials. Benefits, as well as suggestions for avoiding some of the pitfalls the author encountered when using this software to create library instruction tutorials are examined.
