In fanfiction, all offstage events are possible, whether they take place before, during, or after the established action. There's no denying that fanfiction has a bad rep in some schools. For starters, it's frequently dismissed as being poorly written and derivative. Fanfiction is a waste of time to read and a bigger waste of time to write. This article offers the dos and don'ts that teachers should consider when encouraging their students to write fanfiction.
