Various strategies have been developed to deal with this situation. But, the collaborative efforts of subject faculty and librarians in creating a team approach towards plagiarism can produce positive results. Research shows that these relationships can provide structure to assignments creating an environment beneficial to the student researcher. Suggestions in recognizing and options for dealing with plagiarism are discussed.
