Although the "Pop Culture Universe" Web site states the digital information spans "American and world popular culture," the breadth of coverage appears to be centered on Western Culture, specifically American and British cultures. The feature article highlights recent updates to the database and is based on current events that reflect recent newsworthy cultural information. This article is designed to entice the user to explore more features and topics within the "Pop Culture Universe" database.
