Believing that changing the library facility can bring about important changes in the program, this author shares how she became a "decorator" and changed the library media center in an elementary K-6 school. The author's goal when she came to the school was to make the library media center the center of the school, and she feels this has been accomplished. She believes that the biggest factor the staff has noticed is the increased interest in the library media center and in the books. |
