As the person who led the charge to use Google Apps and the person who actually flipped the switch, he was responsible for both presenting a business-use case and doing the work of migrating 60-odd email addresses and their associated emails and other information over to the new system. During this process, the author learned a lot about their new Gmail system. In this article, the author shares some of that learning so that readers may avoid some of their mistakes and learn from their overall success.
