The project consisted of collecting extra copies from professors in several departments and placing the items on reserves for short term circulation; there was a small amount of money dedicated to the project. An analysis of circulation statistics indicated that the average text circulated 3.8 times over the three semesters while the average text in the library collection circulates 2.5 times over its lifetime. Additional benefits of the program were positive feedback from students as well as librarians' improved knowledge of the participating departments. (Contains 2 notes.)
