In her speech, Allison poses a challenge to school librarians. She explains that what lies ahead is the unknown, it is like falling off a cliff, but she establishes why that is a good thing and how school librarians are on the cutting edge. Hopefully school librarians can be inspired to be as courageous in meeting professional challenges as Allison Zmuda who has definitely lived "falling off a cliff." (Contains 1 figure.)
