The authors discuss the process for creating the class, from the technical specifications to the pedagogical approach to the course content and delivery. The authors also discuss the challenges of providing a fully online class to students in a community college population, specifically one without an established culture of distance learning. The authors also make some recommendations to help other institutions prepare to move their credit-bearing classes into the fully online or hybrid realm.
