With free technology such as social websites, newspaper collections, downloadable online calendars, clocks and sticky notes, online scheduling, online document sharing, and online faxing, librarians can access information online and have it readily available. They can also make their users aware of some of these resources. This article discusses various digital tidbits for librarians who still rely on cheaper or free technology that they can use on a daily basis either to organize their staff members' lives or to help quickly answer questions from their users.
