In many shared or independent reading situations, audiobooks offer support to reluctant and struggling readers, special-needs students, and English-language learners. They are also embraced by voracious readers. With the popularity of audiobooks and the budget cuts libraries are facing, a group of public and school librarians were asked to recommend 25 must-have audiobooks released in the past 10 years for middle and for high school students to help librarians get the most bang for their buck.
