The quality of the reproductions and scholarship continues to impress, but so does the growing diversity of subjects, as more and more titles continue to defy traditional art book categorization and cover new and emerging forms of expression, including digital photography, street art, and popular culture arts. This article presents a list of 87 eclectic titles with starred items highly recommended purchases for most libraries.
