Many colleges and universities already have a presence in SL. Books and services typically found in a "brick and mortar" library can be provided in these virtual libraries, including the ability to "read" a book. Limitation to these spaces include funding and training of the virtual librarian. Future research is needed to determine the best way to serve community college students in these digital spaces and the training required of the virtual librarian. (Contains 5 figures.)
