It is an opportunity for students to show their parents what they do in school; how they create in the computer lab, how they work in the art room, and how they interact with the staff. This article shares the authors' experiences in coordinating Family Literacy Night for a K-5 elementary school, from recruiting staff members to gathering feedback at the end of the evening.
