National Board Certified teachers are highly accomplished educators who have met rigorous standards. By achieving National Board Certification, media specialists provide evidence that they are impacting students' learning. The standards reinforce the belief in high expectations for all students and provide a common professional language for all educators to use. National Board Certification is considered by most to be the highest credential in the education profession.
