In this article, the author offers suggestions on how to have a successful school library program, regardless of reductions in budget and/or staff. She mentions that school librarians must: (1) embrace change as an opportunity to grow; (2) delegate tasks to others; (3) be prepared for anything; (4) be kind to everyone; (5) simplify and un-clutter their library; (6) get organized; (7) listen more and be flexible; (8) be prepared to say NO; (9) pace themselves; and (10) pray, get sleep, and start the day with a positive attitude.
