The move included Barnard Library's Zine Collection website, an information resource dedicated to the library's special collection of do-it-yourself (DIY) publications by women. Recently, as a Barnard Zine intern, the author had the challenging but rewarding task of finalizing the transfer of content from the old HTML site to the new one. This final step marked the end of a 2-year project involving the creation of the new Drupal site and decisions about its appearance, content, and navigation. The author begins by discussing Barnard College and the library's zine collection. She describes how the library moves to the new zine website. Though the process of evolving an old site to a new one can be iterative and time-intensive, the author thinks the college's work on the Barnard Library Zine Collection website demonstrates that it can be very worthwhile.
