  • Books, Computers and Assignments: An Exploration of Library Patronage and Sessional Patterns of Study at a Regional University in Australia Spennemann, Dirk H. R. Foreign Countries Academic Libraries Regional Schools Library Research Users (Information) Learning Activities Client Characteristics (Human Services) Computer Uses in Education Assignments Data Analysis Use Studies Computer Centers Trend Analysis While library patronage has seen some research it has never been explored in terms of human activity pattern analysis. This article traces the patronage of three campus libraries at a regional university in Australia in the context of other teaching and learning, such as the use of computer laboratories and assignment deadlines: it suggests not surprisingly, that library patronage is closely related to such activities. Clear patterns of use can be derived which have implications for university management. (Contains 1 table and 15 figures.)
