| contents | Annual Report 2020 data International Labour Organization. International Finance Corporation. In two decades of operation, Better Factories Cambodia has evolved to have an ever-increasing impact on the garment sector in Cambodia. It was the first Programme and today remains a central part of the larger Better Work global presence. Better Factories Cambodia supports sustainable solutions for industry-wide change. In 2020, factory-level social dialogue between workers and management, and tailored advisory services and training for factories, have helped mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. The programme has also focused on creating a greater sense of ownership among factory workers and management to ensure greater compliance across the sector, promoting decent, safe jobs for more than half a million workers, especially women.
