The programme worked with the ILO Vietnam office to support the government in the development of a new Labour Code and has been educating managers and workers in its implementation. Many clothing factories are now facing serious challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the long-term impact is difficult to predict, social dialogue and compliance with labor laws are key for the ongoing development of the country.
