  • Structural change, employment and education in Mozambique Theo Sparreboom Anita Staneva A series of studies have been launched in this context and have been widely discussed during the Forum. The present study demonstrates that strong economic performance has not resulted in improved labour market outcomes in Mozambique. It is argued that economic policies are needed to support structural transformation and the creation of decent work opportunities, which in particular should focus on raising the education and skills profile of workers.
