| contents | Approach to inclusive market systems assessment in Ethiopia: Oromia, Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples, and Addis Ababa Mohamed Muhumed Yussuf (Author) Numery Abdulhamid (Author) Abdirahman Omar (Author) Mesfin Lulseged (Author) To inform more viable interventions, to reintegrate returnees into the labour market and create employment opportunities for the larger society, the ILO Country Office for Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan, and for the Special Representative to the AU and the ECA through the “Better Regional Migration Management” (BRMM) programme, funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), developed a market system assessment in Oromia and Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples (SNNP) region and Addis Ababa City Administration. This assessment reviewed the existing opportunities for either self-employment or wage employment through reviewing the demand in the market, and available wage employment opportunities in the localities. It further considered the availability of the necessary skills and competencies to access these existing opportunities. ILO, 1st ed. ISBN 9789220373149 publication.report |
