Christoph Ernst Edgar López Avilés The objective of this article is to analyze the recent integration of Mexico in the global productions chains in terms of employment quality and quantity. The form has been evaluated in which offshoring production schemes have developed analyzing the formation of production capacities, technological spillover and crowding in and crowding out effects, as well as factors which determine wages and productivity in this sector.
