- Social dialogue in the Peruvian construction sector International Labour Organization (Issuing Body) Peru’s construction sector has benefited from more than two decades of sustained social dialogue between FTCCP and CAPECO, consolidating a stable model of collective bargaining. This process has enabled wage improvements, continuous training, and the creation of new job categories with an inclusive approach. During the pandemic, both parties coordinated joint actions that accelerated the sector’s recovery. The experience has been further strengthened through initiatives such as the Construction Breakfasts, which broaden the dialogue agenda and enhance labour governance. ILO brief.
