The data has been published annually in the magazine of the Austrian Alpine Club, and during the 20th century also in the "Zeitschrift für Gletscherkunde und Glazialgeologie (ZGG)". For earlier years, reports on glacier length changes are published in several journals of Alpine Clubs. Additional material is archived by the Austrian Alpine Club. This material is under investigation now, and the time series published here will be extended. The data published here is based on the publication in the magazine of the Austrian Alpine Club. Multi-year data is not split up, as published. Please have a look at the description of the data when analyzing a specific glacier. Additional data and photo documentations are available at the Glacier Survey of the Austrian Alpine Club. New data will be added every year. |
