The sediment trap sites in the northern and central Bay of Bengal were shifted slightly southward in some years, whereby the stations NBBT and CBBT were spilt into northern (NBBT-N, CBBT-N) and southern sites (NBBT-S, CBBT-S). Between 2001 and 2004 additional sediment trap experiments were carried out in the upwelling system off South Java. |
