contents Fractures observed from acoustic image logs of the Kimama geothermal borehole, Idaho, were picked using WellCAD™ and fracture orientations of dip and azimuth were generated. The angle formed between each fracture plane and the horizontal plane was calculated and the Terzaghi (1965) method was one of the correction methods used to calculate a weighting factor for each fracture.
