contents Holocene permafrost peat from sites in the Thule District, NW Greenland, was studied for organic matter composition, i.e. TOC, TN, δ13C and δ15N. The material was obtained from radiocarbon-dated drill cores reaching 320 cm below surface (bs) in core GL3 (76.03288°N, 67.61811°W) and 198 cm bs in core SI1 (76.56908°N, 70.04099°W). Furthermore, the isotopic composition (δ18O and δD) of one GL3 ice wedge was analysed.
