contents This data set contains CTD data from a survey conducted during a SEACRIFOG training workshop. The survey site was Eidsvåg, which is a side fjord connected to the larger Byfjorden, off Bergen at the western part of Norway. The survey was conducted during 3 and 5 April 2019. Ship used for survey was R/V Hans Brattstrom. The instrument used for the survey was SAIV SD 208 ctd/std. The sampling frequency was once every second. The salinity data has been corrected using discrete salinity samples analysed at a Portasal salinity instrument. The salinity correction was performed by subtracting a constant value which represented the difference between the salinity sensor and the discrete salinity sample at the largest depth. The prescision of the salinity data was 0.002. The dissolved oxygen data has been corrected using Winkler oxygen titration of discrete water samples. The oxygen correction was performed by subtracting a constant value which represented the difference between the oxygen sensor and the discrete oxygen sample at the largest depth. Prescision of the oxygen data was 0.66 umol/kg, accuracy can be determined by comparing uncorrected and corrected oxygen values in the file.
