contents This dataset comprises 1785 apatite fission track (AFT) analyses from mostly Archaean-Palaeozoic igneous rocks, or their metamorphic equivalent, from across the Australian continent. Information provided in this dataset include sample locations, lithologies, AFT age determinations, and mean confined track length measurements. These analyses were first described in Kohn et al. (2002) and Gleadow et al. (2002), and provide critical insights into the low-temperature tectono-thermal evolution of the Australian upper crust over the last 300 million years.
