contents Cladocerans are widely used as an indicator group in paleoecological studies: their exoskeleton remains accumulate in bottom sediments and can be helpful in inferring the history of a water body. In this work, an attempt is made to reconstruct the past climatic and ecological conditions of Lake Lebedinoe (17-Ya-02) located in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Paleolimnological analysis of the sediment core with a length of 36 cm collected from the studied lake is performed. A total of 28 Cladcoera registered in the cladoceran assemblage of the lake, with Bosmina (Eubosmina) longispina dominant throughout the core.
