Therefore the data should not directly be used for grid calculations and charting projects but need to be edited furthermore. The dataset consists of files in HYPACK ASCII rawdata format (*.HSX + *.RAW). HYPACK data files can be processed using the software packages CARIS HIPS/SIPS or with the open source software package MB-System (Caress et al., MB-System: Mapping the Seafloor,http://www.mbari.org/products/research-software/mb-system/ 2021). Ancillary sound velocity profiles (SVP) for data calibration are part of this dataset publication. |
