contents The meteorological observatory Neumayer continuously operates a ceilometer to monitor cloud ceiling above the station. The instrument is mounted on the roof of the station building. Besides autodetected cloud levels the instrument records backscatter profiles of the laser beam. This dataset contains the full raw data from the instrument. The measurement interval is typically 3 to 4 times per minute. All data published here is left "as recorded", no quality control was applied.
