contents Micromagnetic Tomography is a new technique which combines magnetic surface scan of a sample with spatial information (shape, location) of magnetic grains. Combining these two datasets enables us to overcome the non-uniqueness in the inversion and thus we can allocate magnetizations to individual grains that best reproduce the magnetic surface scan. This is a step into understanding how magnetic fields are recorded in magnetic grains, which is relevant for the field of paleomagnetism.
