collection Datos científicos de ciencias marinas y ambientales
contents Glaciological mass balance parameters are measured as part of the monitoring program at Venedigerkees in the Hohe Tauern Range, Austria, since 2011/12. The data sets include glacier wide subseasonal, seasonal and annual point mass balance for the ablation stake and snow pit network, as well as records of snow depth probing. Fixed date values for the hydrological season (winter: 1 Oct - 30 Apr; year: 1 Oct - 30 Sep) are derived by extrapolating from the measurement dates closest to the fixed dates. Detailed Information is given in Hartl et al. (2024) and in the associated readme files. New data will be added every year.
