Bulk solid phase Al, Ca, Fe, and Mn concentrations were determined by ICP-OES following digestion in nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid and perchloric acid. CaCO3 was calculated by multiplying the Ca concentration by the factor arising from the ratio of the molar mass of CaCO3 and Ca (2.5). |
