contents This dataset comprises continuous ground-based atmospheric measurements collected at the Onsala Space Observatory (latitude: 57.39245°N, longitude: 11.91729°E), located on the Swedish west coast. It includes two time series: (1) Meteorological parameters measured by a Vaisala WXT520 weather transmitter from 20 August 2009 to 30 April 2025 at a height of 16.1 m above sea level. The parameters include air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, wind gusts, wind direction, and precipitation (intensity, cumulative rainfall over 1-hour and 24-hours). (2) Global horizontal solar irradiance measurements recorded at 1-minute intervals from 8 August 2018 to 30 April 2025, using a Kipp & Zonen SMP6-V smart pyranometer with a 180° field of view installed at 12 m height. With its high temporal resolution and multi-year coverage, this dataset offers an important resource for analyzing local weather patterns, seasonal variability, and long-term atmospheric trends. It also complements existing regional records and contributes to atmospheric modeling and environmental studies in northern Europe. These measurements have additionally been used in a companion scientific study that examines long-term climate trends and seasonal dynamics at the Onsala Space Observatory (Mascaut et al. 2025).
