contents The IR-CAM provides up to 24 single 30 min footage snippets over the theoretically possible recording period of up to 12 hours. The video data have an image resolution of 1280×960 pixel and a frame rate of 30 fps (frames per second). The video files contain the extension .avi and need to be stored together with the assistance file .ass in the same folder in order to display video in combination with the additionally recorded dive depth (water pressure) displayed in [m]. In addition, the relative acceleration [± 5 g] along x, y, z axes are displayed for orientation. All data can be visually displayed in an html-formatted Graphic User Interface (GUI), in order to provide visual orientation about the entire data set and duration of the video recordings. In combination with the additionally recorded dive depth (water pressure) data, displayed in [m], ambient temperature [°C], acceleration [g] in x, y, z, and the video status (DVS) [video on = 1; video off = 0], the GUI allows toggling of these parameters in order to switch them on/off via mouse-click. Moreover, the GUI enables to download a plot snapshot as a *.png-file, and allows for mouse-controlled settings of zoom and axis scaling. The html-based GUI was programmed with the plotly python library (plotly.graph_objects / Potly.js (v3.0.0)).
