contents In March 2018, specimens of the corals Pocillopora cf. verrucosa and Porites cf. lutea were collected via SCUBA diving (~15 m depth) from eastern shores with low internal wave forcing and western shores with high internal wave forcing at Ko Miang and Ko Racha in the Andaman Sea. Stable isotopes (carbon, nitrogen) and fatty acids of seperated coral host and Symbiodiniaceae fractions were analysed to infer whether internal wave forcing influences coral trophic mode (heterotrophy vs. autotrophy).
